Best Meeting and Events Space of the Year
This category is open to all accommodation providers across Victoria that provide meeting and event facilities. An emphasis on customer service is central to this award. Please note, a metropolitan and regional winner may be awarded for this category.
This category is subject to an anonymous property visit (Monday – Friday) where a judge will request a site visit with a staff member, posing as if they were interested in booking an event at your venue.
Previous winners of this category include Rydges Melbourne, W Melbourne and RACV Torquay Resort.
Judges will be assessing the following criteria:
- Online presence
- Booking process including customer service
- Staff greeting and event consultation
- Technology, AV, catering, and configuration options
- Meeting and event facilities
- Assessment of events pack and information

Cost: $160 + Reimbursement to cover the cost of anonymous property judging.
