On Thursday, 15 August 2024, the Victorian Accommodation Awards for Excellence will take place at Melbourne's renowned Palladium at Crown.
During the gala dinner, Accommodation Australia (Victoria) will recognise the breadth and diversity of accommodation offerings in the state by acknowledging the most exceptional hotels, industry professionals, and onsite amenities.

Judging Process:
Depending on the category, awards are judged by anonymous property visit, assessment of a written submission, or online interview.
Following the awards ceremony on Thursday 15 August, each category entrant will receive feedback on how their property performed relative to winning hotels and individuals.
All judging is completed by a third-party anonymous assessment organisation that is completely independent of AA (VIC).
Accommodation Awards: Anonymous property visits to occur Monday -Thursday.
Onsite Offering Awards: Anonymous property visits to occur Monday -Thursday.
Hotel Achievement Awards: Assessment of written criteria
Employee Awards: Review of the employee's resume, coupled with an online interview.
Please note:
- The Revenue Management Employee of the Year category is judged via written submission.
- The Inclusion and Accessibility Hotel Award category is judged via an anonymous booking enquiry and website assessment.
Should you be a category winner, you may be eligible to enter the AHA National Awards to be held in Brisbane on Monday, 25 November 2024.
Categories that are eligible at national level will require confirmation of interest during nomination submission.

Hotels can only nominate in one accommodation specific category (e.g. Deluxe Accommodation Hotel of the Year) per venue.
Cost: $150 + Reimbursement to cover the cost of anonymous property judging.

TICKETS
Due to the anticipated high demand for tickets for the 2024 Victorian Accommodation Awards for Excellence, we have implemented some changes to the ticket purchasing process.
