Apartment Accommodation Hotel of the Year
Nominees in this category combine the comforts of home with the elevated experience of a hotel stay. Apartment style accommodation should make up at least 40% of the hotel stock, including an offering that is fully self-contained.
Previous winners of this category are Lanson Place Parliament Gardens, Melbourne, Shadow Play by Peppers, Beachcomber Holiday Units and Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel, Melbourne.
Judges will be assessing the following criteria:
- Parking
- General criteria - signage, cleanliness, décor, design, lighting, atmosphere, security and safety.
- Reception and/or check in process
- Hotel facilities
- Guest room
- Kitchen facilities

Hotels nominating in this category will be invoiced to reimburse one night's accommodation - standard room and parking.

Cost: $160 + Reimbursement to cover the cost of anonymous property judging. Please note, Best Meeting and Events Space of the Year nominations cost $200.
